2012 땡큐! 동피랑 (Thank You, Dong-Pi-Rang)

A Village that named Dong-Pi-Rang. here is most famous sights from Tong-Young(TY).

This village has great painted everywhere. today old paints and pictures need to change.

I met many people that in the this village to work and change all of paints.

통영의 몽마르뜨 언덕인 동피랑 마을

그곳의 벽화마을이 새 단장을 한다.

가슴이 따뜻한 사람들의 이야기 마당인 동피랑에서 꿈을 그리는 사람들을 만났다.

 

She painted beautiful flower.

Her hands and body was colored. this is symbol of passion.

예쁜 꽃이 꽃을 그리고 있다.

온몸과 손에 묻은 페인트는 열정의 표상이다.

Here's team of TY. they complained and worried about this situation because of wide-area.

When I left them and saw again, they painting hard with big roller-brush.

그림 그릴 장소를 제비 뽑았는데 면적이 너무커 걱정이 태산 같다며 걱정하고 있는 통영팀.

휘돌아 올라가니 어느새 로라 붓으로 열심히 칠하고 있었다.

눈만 그리면 화룡점정이...

It couldn't do that without passion.

맨발의 투혼을 보시라.

열정 없으면 할수 없는 일...

When this day for repainting this area, here was painted with angel wings.

I asked them what is this, and they said to me it is spores of dandelion.

They want to insert this picture to story. if somebody want to blow up them, it already blew up. I admired them.

I wished many people take this zone , have a great time and pictures of memory.

천사의 날개가 있던곳에 다시 그려지는 벽화.

용인에서 왔다는 세 남자의 작품이 무었인지 물어보니 민들레 홀씨가 날아가는 형상 이란다.

이야기가 있는 스토리 입으로 후~ 불면 홀씨가 날아가는 형상은  아이디어가 좋다고 칭찬 했다.

포토존을 표시하여 소중한 추억을 간직 할수 있도록...

TY's mayor want to paint this walls with amature human resource. many teams in this country want to applyed to paint this walls.

when contest exhibition has come, they handed in their drafts.

벽화전을 전국에서 공모를 했는데 많은 팀이 참가하여 경쟁이 치열했다는 후문.

공모전 신청시 시안을 제출 한다고.

but all of drafts couldn't painted all of fit walls.

place that couldn't paint some, and rough walls... many obstacles.

제출된 시안되로 하기도 하나

장소가 장소인지라 약간의 변형도 있다고 한다.

This palce has small space (5 pyeong) but, it breathed with this small village's residents. Small profits from this gallery share to residents.

동피랑 겔러리는 5평의 작은 공간이지만 수익금의 일부를 주민을 위해 쓰여지는 주민과 호흡하는 작은 겔러리이다.

이곳에 통영 출신 황만조 작가의 전시회가 열려 관람을 했다. 

I dreaming.

I was mermade in the fairytale

and I were a shoal of fish

오늘도 난 꿈을 꾼다.

동화속 주인공인 인어가 되기도 하고

꿈을 향해 하늘을 거슬러 올라가는

물고기떼가 되기도 한다.

Meaning that named Dong-Pi-Rang is edge of cliff from eastside.

TY's mayor want to remodeling this village. but TY civil group that named Blue Tong Young 21 want to symbiosis with citivens and government.

and finally, they consultated make beautiful village with pictures.

Unceasing efforts from all the citizens and government, rational result was made. this village will be more and more progress.

every 2 years they changed all the paints, and now is thrid times.

A village in the sightseeing city, you can get kool pictures (maybe it could named graffity) and seeing big three ship in front of sea.

동피랑은 동쪽의 벼랑끝이란 통영식 발음으로 이곳이 달동네였다.

시청에서 재개발을 한다고 이전 계획이 있었으나 통영 시민단체인 푸른통영21이

주민과 시청이 공생할수 있는 방법을 모색한 결과 아름다운 벽화마을로 태어났다.

끊임없는 주민과의 교류로 합리적인 방향으로 나아가는 이곳 동피랑은 대한민국 시민단체 활동의  모범답안이다.

주민에게 도움이 되는 활동을 꾸준히 모색하고 불편을 최소화 하는 노력이 이루어 지는 동피랑은

더욱 나은 방향으로 발전 될 것이다.

2년마다 벽화가 바뀌는데 올해는 그 세번째 벽화전이다.

통영의 몽마르뜨 언덕에서 새로운 벽화도 보시고 코발트빛의 통영 바다에 떠있는 세척의 거북선도 감상 하시라...
