통영 국제 음악제가 어느듯 10주년이 되었습니다.

Tongyoung International Music Festival(TIMF) has been 10 years.

현대음악을 표방한 특색있는 음악제로써 아시아의 대표 음악제로 거듭나고 있습니다.

It has more and more grow than before as head of Asia's music fest.

올해의 주제는 소통 입니다.

Title of this year is 'Communication.'

대중과 연주자의  호흡,동서양의 교류,젊음과 기성이 거리낌 없이 음악으로 소통함을 의미 합니다. 

East and West, listeners and players, old people and new people and more than 'and' communication by music!

남망산에 있는 시민문화화관 입니다.

Here is Culture Hall at Mt. Nammang.

이곳이 메인 공연이 열리는 공간 입니다.

Here is main Stage.

이곳도 내년이면 그 소임을 다하고 새로운 음악당에게  자리를 물려 줄겁니다.

But next year, performances are not in here. it perfomed another places.

지난 10년동안  음악제의 바탕이 된 자부심이 있는 장소 입니다. 

Before the 10 years, all the music fest were in here and has great self-respection. here is great place.

한무리의 젊은이들이 단체로 관람을 왔나 봅니다.

A Lot of person who are young want to see

풋풋한 젊음이 느껴 집니다.

We can feel young feeling....

개막공연이 매진이군요. 

All the opening tickets are soldout!

올해의 개막 공연은 통영 페스티벌 오케스트라의 연주로 시작 합니다.(TFO)

Begining of this year's Opening stages is Tongyoung Festival Orchestra's playing.

 1) 윤이상의 제자인 도시오 호소가와의 '오케스트라를 위한 "명상"- 3.11 쓰나미 희생자를 위하여'는

   일본 지진 피해자를 위한 진혼곡 음악으로 영혼을 부르는 소리에서 영혼을 달래는소리 영혼이 가는 소리를 표현 했습니다.

  Toshio Hosogawa who is Isang Yun's disciple explained his music for the victim of tsunami. The song's title is  

  "Meditation"  for orchestra - For victim of Tsunami'. He want to peace for the souls by his music to disappeared

  natural disasters.

 2) 김선욱의 협연으로  베토벤 피아노 협주곡 제3번 C단조 작품번호 37

   현악기와 피아노의 절묘한 호흡이 돋보이며 클라이막스 도입부의 1악장과 감미로운 서정적인 호흡의 2악장을 지나

   봄의 왈츠처럼 경쾌한 리듬의(춘당매가 피는 소리) 3악장을 들었습니다.

    Piano Concerto No.3 in C minor op.37, with Sun-Wook Kim. 

    It harmonied string instrument and piano,

    First movement has great climax.

    Second movement has fresh and sweet melody,

    Last movement is rhythmical.

3) 브람스 교향곡  제4번 E단조 작품번호 98

    1악장 :한마리의 나비가 꽃을 찾는 모습이 연상되며 은빛 모래가 아름다운 비진도 앞바다의 모습이 연상 됩니다.

    2악장:서서히 달아 오르는 소리 여름이 오는 소리, 조화로운 소리와 서정적인 스토리의 이야기 바다 입니다.

    3악장:녹음 우거진 숲속의 환희, 생명 생존경쟁의 치열한 다툼이고 힘차고 강렬한 연주.

               도대체 음악은 무엇인가? 귀가 즐거운가? 머리에 마음에 무엇이 생기는가? 무얼 느끼는가? 

    4악장:호수가의 오리떼가 한가로이 헤엄친다.금관악기의 독주 소리에 폭풍의 언덕이다.

             절벽의 땅 천길 낭떠러지 소리이다.소요동의 폭포가 떨어지는 소리이다.

    Brahms: Symphony No. 4 in E minor op. 98

    First movement: I imagined a butterfly seeking a flower, and beautiful front sea of Bijindo.

    Second movement: Harmonic sea story, at Summer.

    Thrid movement: Green Forest's deilghtment, the struggle of existment, strong plays.

          What is music? does my ear has enjoy? Is something building at my head or heart? What can i feel?

    Fourth Movement: A few ducks are swimming at the pond. a brass's soloing is wuthering height.

                                   This sound is cliff and waterfall's sound.

알렉산더 리브라이히 예술감독의 발언이 있었습니다,

A word of Artistic director, Alexander Liebreich.

2011년 3월 9일 일본 이바라기현의 홀에서 NHK 심포니 오케스트라와 협연으로 10주년 기념공연을 했는데

He was performed NHK Symphony Orchestra at the Ibaragi, Japan.

2일후 3월11일 대 지진으로 연주홀이 붕괴 되었다고 합니다.

But after 2 days, great earthquake hit Ibragi's play hall.

희생자들을 위한 시벨리우스 곡을 헌정 한다 하며 앵콜곡을 연주 했습니다. 

He dedicated Sibelius's song for them.

자 통영국제음악제 10년을 돌아봅니다.

2002 서주와 추상.이는 윤이상의 작품에서 영감을 받아 시즌 테마로 정했습니다. 

2002's theme is an introduction and abstraction.

2003 꿈(Dream), 2004 공간 (Space)

2005 기억 (Memory), 2006  유동 (Flux)

2007 만남  (Rencontre), 2008 자유 (Freiheit.)

2009 동과서  (East and West.), 2010  음악+ (Music+)

2011 전환 (Moving Dimension.)

폐막공연도 매진이군요.

폐막공연은 베아트 푸러 음악극- <파마>이다.(3월 29일 저녁 7시 시민문화회관 대극장)

Ending is Beat Furrer's musical, <Fama>.

파마는 '소문의 여신'으로 파마의 거처는 수많은 입구와 수천개의 통로로 이루어져 있으며

Fama is 'Goddess of Rumor', and her house has too many entrance and enormous passage,

그녀는 이곳에서 세상의 모든것을 보고 듣는다.그 파마를 표현한 음악극 입니다.

and she see and hear all of world. This musical expressed Fama the Goddess of Rumor.

모두 8개의 장으로 이루어진 이 음악극에서 엘제의 마음이 다양하게 표현됩니다.

There're 8 parts. Many ｅxpression of Else's mind in musical.

 현대음악은 지극히 실험적이고 난해하다.이해가 잘 안된다.적어도 지금은.

At least now, I can't understand this modern music. it's too many experimentical and difficult to me.

음악의 정서와 토양은 어디서 오는가?

Where does musical essences and materials come from?

많은 관객이 이 음악을 듣고 무얼 느꼈는가?과연 얼마나 이해 했을까?

Do all the listeners understand this musics? and how much they understand?

음악의 문외한이 듣는 소리는 귀곡성의 소리였다.

I heard ghost's screaming... This time, I'm layman.

앨범이 어떤게 잘 팔리는지 물어보니 가주히토 야마시다의 앨범이 잘 나간다고 하네요. 

I asked which album is bestseller, and he said Kazuhito Yamasida's Album.

올해도 이렇게 봄 시즌이 끝났습니다.

Spring Season is over this year.

밖으로 나오니 샛바람이 많이 불고 있군요.

Outgoing an easter wind blow up.

봄을 시샘하는 샛바람
